Things I Love Thursday: Moby Wrap

 

When I first opened my Moby Wrap I thought, "how in the world is this thing supposed to work?" I was very intimidated because it was 20 feet long! Ok, maybe not literally, but probably close! The Moby Wrap is just one loooooong rectangle! So I opened the instructions and had it on in about 3 minutes. It was super easy!

I put my baby in it when she was less than a week old. It is very supportive for her and I had no worries that she was safe and secure. As shown in the picture above on the right, you can tuck your baby's head into the Moby. I found that my baby was very comforted being wrapped up tightly close to my body. I went on a lot of walks using the Moby!

I love how you can use the Moby as your baby grows by slightly changing the way you wrap it. When your baby gets older, you pull a piece of the Moby under your baby's legs so that they hang freely. As your baby gets heavier, the Moby remains very comfortable because your baby's weight is distributed over the wide straps that don't cut into your shoulders.
