here. Today, I want to share with you a couple of my recent shopping trips to show you an example of how much money you can save by couponing. It also shows that you can get good products and that you don't have to do anything extreme to save money!
Shopping Trip #1
Here's what I got:
- (2) Purina Beggin' Strips 14 oz.
- (2) Right Guard Body Wash
- (4) Kashi cereal
- (1) Huggies Wipes 216 ct.
- (2) Green Works Dish Soap
If I bought all of these items at full price and didn't use any coupons, I would have spent $54.13! However, all of these items were on sale and I used coupons to bring my total down to $12.75 including tax! Here's how I did it:

- (2) $2/1 Purina Beggin Strips (store coupon) = -$4
- (1) $1/2 Purina products = -$1

Shopping Trip #2
Here's what I got:

- (2) Suave Shampoo/Conditioner

- Onions
If I bought all of these items at full price and didn't use any coupons, I would have spent $47.20! However, all of these items were on sale and I used coupons to bring my total down to $19.24! Here's how I did it:

With this trip I also got a $50 Lowe's gift card for only $40 because I spent at least $25 in groceries
before coupons! I went ahead and got it because I knew we would be moving soon and would be doing some home improvement stuff.
So there you have it! I was able to get some quality, healthy grocery items for very cheap because of couponing! And, I didn't have to do anything extreme like on the TV show! It took me probably around 30 minutes to put together my shopping lists and gather my coupons. I think it is time well spent!
