I've been trying to get my regular posts up, but I've been busy! Fortunately, most of it has been a good busy. My mom is in town (visiting from Alaska!) for almost a couple weeks! This is just the third time she has gotten to visit with her grandbaby! We're trying to do some fun stuff so that she doesn't have to sit through my daily routing of cleaning, taking care of our dogs, cleaning, and cleaning. :)
We have been up to a lot! We did a 10k trail run on Sunday. It was a blast and I got first in my age group! Ok...I was the only one in my age group! :) Hey, I'll take it! We went for a short hike to the spot my husband proposed to me over three years ago! We've gone out to eat a couple times including cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory and a macaroni and cheeseburger! That's right, a burger with fried mac 'n cheese on top! It was awesome! Of course we've done some shopping. Got myself a new swimsuit for the summer and a new pair of sandals. Yesterday we got pedicures! It was my Mother's Day gift to her (and me)! This morning we swam some laps then grabbed baby girl and swam with her a little.
The only real bummer is that my baby girl has started sleeping less at night. I think she may be going through a growth spurt because sometimes she'll wake up in the middle of the night and won't go back to sleep until I feed her. She slept a solid 9 1/2 hours last night though so that was good!
Anways, I'm trying to find some good deals for you when I have time and energy! I'm just enjoying my mama right now!
