My baby girl has never really taken a bottle. She's sort of took one literally a few times. She's about 8 months now and I decided to start trying a sippy cup. The first couple tries, she didn't really drink anything. She just chewed on the spout.
My mom is in town visiting and decided to buy her grandbaby a couple more sippy cups. She bought the Nuk Learner Cup. The spout is made out of the same (or at least very similar) material as the nipples on bottles, but it's shaped like a sippy cup spout. My baby girl took to it pretty quickly! You have no idea how happy that makes me! I will now feel much better about leaving her with someone because I know that she'll drink some milk!
My baby girl banged it all over her high chair and it never leaked. It also has a removable base with handles so that you're child can feed themselves and a cover for the top for traveling.
